Ross Fisher

Paediatric Surgeon

Ross Fisher is a Consultant Paediatric Surgeon and lead for Oncology Surgery and Trauma at Sheffield Children's Hospital, Sheffield, UK. He trained in Paediatric Surgery in Sheffield, London, Bristol and Auckland NZ and has been in specialist practice since 2001. He is a strong advocate in improving medical education and is part of the #FOAMed movement as "faculty" at both St Emlyn's and The Children's Hospital in, Virchester. His interest in presentation skills started during his research degree where he realised that his presentation sucked. So, he set about trying to improve. As a result he has developed an approach to presentations that is internationally acclaimed, shared and widely utilised.
